The Mayor of Ibiza, Rafa Ruiz, and the spokesman for the Autonomous Committee of Infectious Diseases of the Balearics, Javier Arranz, will take part in a digital meeting in relation to the health crisis due to Covid-19 on Thursday 28 January in at 6:30 p.m.The aim of the meeting is to provide answers to the doubts and questions of citizens in relation to the health, economic and social crisis due to the Covid-19.
This meeting is aimed at citizens who can send their questions and doubts to infocovid@eivissa.es

TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Santa Eulària des Riu City Council has decided to temporarily suspend the acts of the Teatro España and Centre Cultural de Jesús due to the health situation on the island.
Despite the fact that the strengthened Phase 4 regulations allow cultural activities to be carried out in venues such as the Teatro España and that the maximum hygienic-sanitary measures have been adopted to prevent contagion between users and personnel of the venue, it has been considered appropriate temporarily suspend the activity as a measure of responsibility.

Bonet Vallribera exhibition - Ibiza town hall
José Carlos Bonet Vallribera, a plastic, self-taught and versatile author, exhibitis 17 paintings in the Plenary Hall of Ibiza City Council.
The polychromy is more intuitive to see, due to the composition of painted and bound wooden plates. The show responds to the expressive economy that revisits the precepts of minimalism and other avant-garde.Visits : monday to fridays.

Sala Barrau - Santa Eulària
The Sala Barrau is located on the Paseo de s'Alamera in the heart of Santa Eulalia.
The former Agricultural Cooperative has become an exhibition hall dedicated to Laureano Barrau, catalan painter who settled in the "village of the River" back in 1932. His paintings present lush and sturdy brushstrokes.His work is also preserved in large art galleries such as the Prado Museum, the Getty Museum (in California), the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, various museums in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Paris and Rio de Janeiro.

"El museu en familia" Guided visits to the MACE - Ibiza
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza presents "El MACE en família" as a therapeutic tool, offering FRE guided tours for families from tuesday to sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.
This initiative, through the didactic program for families of the museum, "The MACE in family", is part of the initiative of 'Museu Terapèutic".
As a museum of contemporary art, it attends to a relatively recent historical framework and an immediate present is intended to be part of the process of social development at the times we´re living in For this reason the museum has promoted the Therapeutic Museum with the certain that art and museums, are healing and palliative.
Given the current situation in which social gatherings have been limited, MACE offers these family visits as a way out into the outside world and into contact with contemporary art.
One family group admitted every hour, from 10h to 14h.

We can imagine, it was a huge event with a great social impact.
Joan Marí could´ve never imagine that this simple roadhouse should become a mythical place on the island. The beginning of the legend.
30 YEARS OF MARKET
The market gets 30 in 2015. It began in 1985 with five stalls, and since it gathers craftmen and craftwomen of all over the world, filling the Market with color and fantasy. Currently, it is one of the most famous in Europe with more than 200 stalls fashion, jewelery, art and decoration.
