Sa Torre Cega Gardens

These beautiful gradens are part of Sa Torre Cega Villa, a property of Juan March, from 1915, and afterwards of his son Bartolomé March. The Garden is a work done by the English landscape designer Russell Page (1905-1985). Later on, the architect Gabriel Alomar Esteve (1910-1997), who was acquainted with Italian gardens, made a few modifications. To complement the harmonious design of the garden, the March's contemporary sculpture collection was placed in this beautiful spot. In 2001, a strong storm swept through the gardens and partly ripped hundreds of trees, but they have recently been restored and they're worth a visit.
