The Torrent of Sa Riera borns in the town of Puigpunyent and empties into Palma's Bay. Formerly, it passed through the Ramblas, Carrer de l'Uniò  and Passeig des Born, but in 17th century it was rerouted to avoid that it crossed the old town. Now it passes outside the ancient walls of the city, forming the Paseo Mallorca. It's a very nice and romantic spot for a walk in the city centre that ends in Palma´s promenade.
