Porto Pi's lighthouse is the third most antique functioning lighthouse in the world. After its automatisation in 2008, it was decided to habilitate it for visitors. The result is an interesting exhibition with antique maritime signals that have been restored and a complete explanation of how lighthouses work. It's also possible to go up to the lantern room and see how it functions.
