This Foundation was created in 2008 by the artist Aina Maria Lliteras within a typical urban 17th century manor house known as Can Cardaix, where she was born and nowadays maintains her studio. The visit to Can Cardaix allows to get acquainted with the customs and life of traditional Majorcan nobility, in addition to discover the work of this renowned artist from Artà. There's a permanent exhibition of paintings done by Lliteras as well as other works of art by renowned Spanish artists of 17th and 18th centuries.
