L'Aucanada Lighthouse tis named after the islet where it's located. It was inaugurated in 1861 and it formerly worked with olive oil. The lighthouse keeper and his family used to live in the islet and there was a person in charge of bringing them all supplies by boat twice a week. Nowadays, the lighthouse can be accessed by swim or by walk from Aucanada beach.
