Son Fornés is a monographic museum housed in a flour mill of 18th century, called "Moli des Fraret". The exhibition shows the archeological pieces found in the field named as the museum, located 2.4 km from the town of Montuïri.
Visiting the different rooms means taking a trip back in time, starting from the prehistoric era of Mallorca's Pla area until the Roman conquer of the island in 123 BC. The tour shows objects, images, texts and multimedia materials that depict the inhabitants of Son Fornés during Talayotic, Post-talayotic and Classical eras.
