Heritage Route through Dalt Vila

The Madina Yabisa Interpretation Center organizes these walking routes to discover the historical, cultural and heritage values ​​of Dalt Vila and its surroundings.
These itineraries are free.

The first of these itineraries will be held on Saturday 18 and Sunday 26 January, and has the title ‘The city in ancient times’.
This walk will show the archeological remains preserved in Dalt Vila that allow us to know the origin and extension of the city in ancient times. T
he archeological significance of the site of Santa Maria Street will be explained, we will visit the Phoenician-Punic city remains that are preserved in the Museum of Contemporary Art building, and discover other remains at the foot of the Renaissance wall.

The meeting point is the Plaza de la Catedral, the route will end at Plaça des Parc and will last approximately two and a half hours.
